Liwan District is planning to build an economic cluster - Guangzhou-Foshan Digital Creative Park beside the Huadi River, arming to make it the largest E-commerce industrial park in Guangzhou, according to the responsible person of Liwan District.

Guangzhou-Foshan Digital Creative Park, with a total planned construction area of 200, 000 square meters, will be built beside the Huadi River in Dongjiao Sub-District of Liwan. 30, 000 square meters will be put into use after the first phase of construction, which will lead to form an industrial center in Bai'etan economic zone, making it the largest growing industrial park in west Guangzhou.

According to Bureau of Science and Information Technology of Liwan District, Liwan has always been the trade center of Guangzhou, an international trade center. The merchandise trade of Liwan has global influence. There are 230 kinds of markets in such areas as garments, shoes, cultural works, groceries, medicine, aquatic products, plastics, house building materials, electronic communications, tea, jade articles, antiques, cars, flowers and aquarium fish in this district. More than a hundred billion of its turnover has been made through E-business of B2B and B2C. As a result, the cluster in Liwan District has a unique advantage in developing E-commerce. Liwan will enhance the development of a bunch of E-commerce enterprises through the industrial agglomeration and industrial service.
